Youtube HD Video, And iPhone Firmware 2.2
Friday, November 21st, 2008Hey all,
Just read an article that Youtube has been playing around with 720P HD video embeds behind scenes. I find it very interesting, and the embed that I was watching on this site was taking a long time to download, which doesn’t surprised me one bit, since HD video takes a lot more space then regular video. Now this video is of Bwana (a popular person on the IRC network WyldRyde) talking about his thoughts and things you may not know about the iPhone Firmware 2.2.
But personally, I don’t mind waiting longer to watch a video, as long as it is good content, but from people like Bwana and Chris Pirillo, I wouldn’t have to worry about that at all.
Update* Well, because of this free hosting, I might not be able to do this considering that the adds that Godaddy adds in is conflicting with Wordpress’s programming that makes it put some coding in that makes it so the HD stuff can’t be embedded. Hope I can find a way to get around that till I can start paying for this site again.
Update* I have got hosting for my blog now, so I am now back into embeding things into posts, and I have also updated above with an HD video. If I can remember correctly, you add in “&ap=%2526fmt%3D22″ to the end of off the URL in the embed code they give you, and it will add it will up the graphics to HD if it is available.
